Welcome to LearnBharat, a Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Assessment Platform developed by Wadhwani Foundation. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using LearnBharat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using this platform on behalf of a school or educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Platform Purpose & Use
LearnBharat is designed exclusively for:
- Conducting FLN assessments for students in Grades 1-3
- Supporting teachers in tracking student progress
- Providing AI-powered learning assistance
- Contributing to NIPUN Bharat Mission goals
Permitted Users: Teachers, school administrators, education department officials, and students (under teacher supervision).
3. User Responsibilities
Teachers and Administrators must:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Ensure student assessments are conducted fairly
- Protect student data and privacy
- Use assessment results for educational improvement only
Users must NOT:
- Share login credentials with unauthorized persons
- Manipulate assessment scores or results
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose
- Attempt to access data of students outside their class/school
- Reverse engineer or copy platform technology
4. Student Data & Consent
Schools and teachers are responsible for obtaining necessary parental consent for student participation in assessments.
Student data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws.
Audio recordings made during assessments are used solely for scoring purposes and are handled according to our data retention policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of LearnBharat, including assessment materials, AI models, user interface, and branding, are owned by Wadhwani Foundation and protected by intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for its intended educational purposes only.
6. Disclaimers & Limitations
LearnBharat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, assessment results should be used as one of multiple data points in educational decision-making.
We are not liable for:
- Internet connectivity issues affecting assessments
- Decisions made based on assessment results
- Temporary service unavailability
- Third-party service interruptions
7. Modifications to Terms
Wadhwani Foundation reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
